The difference between a System 1 and System 2 is the lap timer hardware - the pit wall beacon and the car-mounted receiver tube. Together these enable the lap timer and performance meter functions of the Micro Dash. If you start with a System 1, you can upgrade to a System 2 at any time.

In fact, the whole Micro Dash System is fully upgradeable with 6 open analog channels for your choice of sensors. Built-in setup routines and both 12V and 5V supply lines make it easy to use any of SPA's range of pressure or temperature sensors or any 0-5V output device. Another user-friendly feature is one-wire hookup to measure and display battery voltage.

It's common to connect two of the SPA brake pressure sensors to the Micro Dash. Do this and it will not only display the pressure in each circuit when you step on the pedal but it will automatically calculate the bias percentage for you. How easy can it get?

The shift light array is easily programmable in 10 rpm steps, letting you fine-tune the system to your exact needs.
